Just before we left Lewiston we hid a cache for our son. Unfortunately we didn't realize it was a little to close to one leg of a puzzle cache in the area. So we contacted the owner of the puzzle cache and asked if he would move it for us. He did and it is now in a new location. These pictures are of the original hide. Pic1: BraveEagle and MBW slip and slide while scrambling up the rocky hillside looking for a prime location. Pic2: They load on the rocks to make it invisible in the location. It is supposed to be a level 5 even though it is an ammo can. Pic3: They wait for the coordinates to average using two GPS's for accuracy.
As we were walking back from the hide, hubby realizes that he is missing something. He goes back for it, while we wait and snap a few pictures of the pretty area. Wildflowers are starting to show their pretty colors and the ducks are playing on the pond. There are even a few fishermen.
We are not done with our hides yet. As we drive through Pullman, we stop at the spot of the new Domino's Pizza franchise that will soon be opened by our son. We choose a spot in the parking lot and MBW marks the spot while hubby goes to get the cache.
As we continue on our way home, we pick up a few more caches. There is a cache right there next to that sign and somewhere between this cache and the next one I lost my camera case and extra battery. I had it at this sign. I didn't have it at the next stop. It may have gotten left on the hood of the car as we drove off.
