For my birthday, I decided what I wanted to do was reach a geocaching goal of the most geocaches I have done in a day. 13 was the number to beat. I decided to do 16 because my birthday was on the 16th. Then on my profile it would show 16 caches on the 16th. Then we decided to celebrate my birthday on the 17th. I reached the goal of 16 but it was on the 17th instead. MBW had a youth activity out in Spokane Valley so hubby and I decided we would drop her off and then go geocahing in the area while we waited. I planned the route ahead of time. There were 10 geocaches along the river in the Harvard Park area. The 10th was a level 5 difficulty and I wasn't sure we would be able to find it. So I put that as last on the list, so we could take whatever time was left looking. I choose 6 others to do before we started the Harvard Park ones and then chose a couple more just in case we had some we couldn't find. This first picture was a cool tree that held one of those first 6 caches.
This next set of pictures were all taken in the Harvard Park area. Some were taken near caches and some were not. It was a really nice area and I am glad I chose it, to spend some time in on my birthday.
Those rocks are not a cache. I just liked the looks of them.
We couldn't find the last one in Harvard Park. We searched until it started getting dark and we were getting very hungry. So we hiked our way out and got something to eat and then it was time to pick up MBW from her activity. By then it was pretty late but we had to get one last cache to reach my goal. That last one was one that I thought would be quick and easy and nothing special. It was quick and easy, but it ended up being one of my favorite cache containers. Here is the picture of the container: To Cute!
