June

Hubby wanted to find a scouting Cache to do a quick drop off and retrieve of a scouting travel bug so that it showed it's trip to Washington State before he took it to California. It was a bad night for caching. the weather was iffy and we weren't sure it was going to start raining on us like it had been all day off and on. Our first two attempts we could not find. So all together we spent about an hour and a half to get one  geocache. These are pictures of that spot. We were glad this last one was an easy find. A cop did drive by while we were looking for it and gave us a funny look.
The next Saturday while hubby was out of town MBW and I worked at the church cannery and then picked up a few caches in the area as well as some of the ones that hubby had hidden or found previously without us.
This first one is Dizzie Montgomery on of my hubbys hides. I loved the spot!

This is another one that I really liked. It is a Travel Bug hotel. The location seemed so remote yet it is really easy access off of the freeway.

This one I didn't realize was in the cemetery until after I had made several unsuccessful attempts to get to it from roads that didn't get me there. The cemetery entrance was down a dead end road, so I didn't try it at first. This was pretty cool because it was located right next to the plaque that shows Spokane's connection to the Titanic. If you click on this third picture of the whole plaque you can pretty much make out what it says.

For family night we went caching in Newport and this is one of my favorites. It is called birds of a feather. You can see it in the tangle of branches in the first picture and then in more detail in the second. It has its own cool little nest to call home.
